Mercy Home is participating in an exciting new way to raise money for the agency without it costing the
donor anything! Here’s how it works:

TD Bank (formerly Commerce) has a program called the Affinity membership Program which encourages individuals to save with TD Bank and help their favorite charity (hopefully Mercy Home) at the same time. SO….how does Mercy Home benefit? At the end of the year, the average daily balances are tallied and a check is distributed to Mercy Home based on the total amount in all of the accounts linked our unique code number. This includes Retirement Accounts, IRA’s, Money Market, Checking and Savings Accounts. For more information contact any TD Bank or Sr. Caroline at 718-832-1075 x 21.

To read more about this program download our TD Bank Flyer >>

MERCY HOME ALSO ACCEPTS MASTERCARD, VISA AND AMERICAN EXPRESS. TO MAKE A CONTRIBUTION USING A CREDIT CARD PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE OF DEVELOPMENT AT 718-832-1075 X 21 OR 32.

You can make cash donations at any time. You can specify that your donation be used to support a specific program or to provide funds for developing a new program. If you prefer not to restrict your contribution, it will be used where the need is greatest.

Tribute Gifts

This is a thoughtful way to honor the memory of someone important to you. You can also honor someone on a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, graduation, promotion, or significant achievement.

Planned Giving

There are a variety of ways to structure a planned gift to Mercy Home that can help you to minimize both your current taxes and your estate taxes. Approaches to Planned Giving may include bequests, a retirement plan gift whereby Mercy Home is designated as the final beneficiary of your retirement or pension funds, a gift of an existing life insurance policy or the purchase of a new life insurance policy designating Mercy Home as the beneficiary, or a current gift of cash or appreciated securities. To find out which approach best meets your needs, please consult with your attorney.

Naming Opportunities

A named gift enables you to support specific or general activities of Mercy Home and to honor a family member, friend or colleague in perpetuity. A group of donors can pool their gifts to make a significant contribution in honor of a colleague.
