Hydroponics + Mercy Home

Thanks to the incredible support of the McKeen fund, Mercy Home’s hydroponics growing room has taken off! Residents have grown beautiful produce- which they have enjoyed in their homes, and sharing with others. Last week, residents prepared a salad for Mercy Home’s game night.

Residents worked as a team to harvest, wash, and chop vegetables for the salad with the guidance of our horticultural therapist, Maggie.

The chefs were delighted to prepare and share their beautiful salad with the entire Mercy Home Community- the salad was colorful, healthy, and so delicious! We cannot wait to see how our hydroponics growing room continues to flourish!
