Each year a select group of employees receives awards recognizing their extraordinary dedication to the people we support. This year's awardees included;
Debrah Hall; for respect,
Jasmine Lavine; for teamwork,
Maverly Dennis; for care,
Claudia Stern for compassion,
Shannon Williams for trust, and
Charmaine Clarke received the Catherine McAuley Spirit Award.
At the event, we also celebrated our staff's years of service and commitment to those in our care. We recognized Kelly Nagy, Fatimo Bello, Margarett Spencer, Rachel Jean-Pierre, and Jamel Hunt for five years of service. For fifteen years of service, we celebrated Robert Riviezzo, and Garfield Jones received his twenty-five years of service award. It was an honor to end the celebration by acknowledging Veronica Pottinger for thirty-five years of service and commitment to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The afternoon ended with a line dance, games and terrific raffle prizes.
Mercy Home is so grateful to all of our employees. While we honored their dedication and commitment on this particular day, we want everyone to know how deeply they are appreciated every day.
